I studied Linguistics at the University of Maryland, College Park, where I conducted research with Dr. Jeffrey Lidz on early verb learning. After graduating with my BA in 2020, I joined Dr. Elika Bergelson’s lab at Duke University as the lab manager. I moved with the BLab in July 2023 to Harvard University.
My research centers around the role of the senses in language learning. How do babies use their language input, sensory experience and cognitive skills to make abstract inferences?
I’m a pro at building data storage systems, research workflows, and annotating and analyzing audio and text data.
In my free time, I paint, knit, hunt for antiques, and care for my cats and plants.
